What are the New Feature in Chrome 10 beta? (Download)

Google has just announced the speedy Chrome 10 beta and is available to every Chrome users.

Google write in their Blog that:
With today’s stable release, even your most complex web apps will run more quickly and responsively in the browser. (For the curious, this boost corresponds to a 66% improvement in JavaScript performance on the V8 benchmark suite). We realize that speed isn’t just about pure brawn in the browser—it’s also about saving time with simple interfaces."

What are the New Features in Chrome 10 beta?
  • Javascript performance is up 66% and this is important because Javascript is used in modern Web 2.0 applications.
  • The user interface has improved a bit, especially for exporting/importing bookmarks.
  • Google has even added a search box to find settings.
  • On top of that, you can also copy and paste a direct link into Chrome’s address bar to jump to a specific settings page.
  • Security-wise, Google has also “sandboxed”  (or put in a compartment) the code that is executed by the integrated Flash player. This adds an extra layer of protection from malicious Flash objects.
All in all, this should be an easy upgrade.
