Google has now finally started pushing the Android 4.0.4 update to the Motorola Xoom, Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S II doesn’t get this Android 4.0.4 update as of now .
According to Google, the update brings:
Unfortunately, the GSM variants of both the handsets (Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus) are currently receiving the update. This excludes the Nexus S 4G for Sprint and the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon, who may receive the update at a later date.
According to Google, the update brings:
- Stability improvements
- Better camera performance
- Smoother screen rotation
- Improved phone number recognition
- Battery statistics bug errors fixed
- Auto brightness function improved for smoother transition
- Improved browser performance
- Increase the output volume
- Power menu is improved and its new
- News and weather apps improved interface
- Browser controls improved
- Faster access to recent application menu
