Official: Apple iPad 3 to be announced on March 7th

After loads of rumors about the iPad 3, finally Apple has started sending out invitations to the official unveiling of the iPad 3.

iPad 3 will feature a 2048×1536 Retina display, quad-core Apple A6 system-on-a-chip, possibly 4G LTE networking and either a 5 or 8 megapixel rear camera and a FaceTime HD front camera.

The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10AM PST on Wednesday, March 7th.

What else? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. It’s going to be an interesting week ahead of us.
