After loads of rumors, Samsung has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update is rolling out in European countries including Poland, Hungary, Sweden, as well as Korea starting today.
Samsung also announced that GALAXY S, GALAXY Tab 7, GALAXY S Plus, GALAXY S SCL (Super Clear LCD), and GALAXY W would receive Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware upgrades from end of March. The firmware upgrade would bring new features such as Face Unlock, Snapshot, Photo Editor and more.
Other Samsung device, like GALAXY R, GALAXY Note, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Tab 8.9 and 10.1 will also be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update sooner.
