iOS 5.1 available from today, Siri speaks Japanese

With the launch of new iPad, Apple announced movie support for iCloud, iPhoto is coming to iOS, along with an iOS 5.1 update for iPhone, iPad and iPods. iOS 5.1 update, which will be available from today, and with some new updates to Siri.

The update brings Japanese language support for Siri as well as the option to selectively delete photos from Photo Stream in iCloud. For iCloud users, the service has also been updated to support movies, and movies purchased from the iTunes App Store can be re-downloaded in 1080p Full HD resolution.

iOS 5.1 is also supposed to hold the promise of enhanced battery life. Go check your iDevice for the update, but keep in mind that you may experience issues with its download.
