Google Reader RSS App is Now Available for Android

The official Google Reader app for Android is now available as a free download in Android Market for all your RSS needs, and features synced preferences, multiple accounts, subscription management, and search. The app supports all the basics you’d expect like unread counts, friends, sharing, liking, and starring.

Additionally, you can navigate your way around with the volume key, and a long press on a folder or subscribed item brings up a contextual menu. If you hit the menu key on an individual item, you can use the “send” feature which integrates with other apps on your phone to send the item using any 3rd party app.
