HP TouchPad – the webOS tablet

HP has finally announced their entry into the webOS tablet market with TouchPad  and it’s looking good so far.

The TouchPad Features:

• a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core 1.2GHz processor
• a 9.7″ touchscreen (1024 x 768)
• 16 or 32GB of storage
• Flash support
• WiFi
• Bluetooth
• GPS
• internal stereo speakers and Beats Audio
• a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
• HP Touchstone support

It looks like HP has a serious competitor in the tablet category, and the iPad 2, PlayBook and Xoom should be a little concerned if not worried. No prices were mentioned, but it will be available this summer as well.
