Google Translate for iPhone hits the App Store

Today Google announced Google Translate iPhone app for iPhone users. It is available for download from the App Store. The new app has all of the features of the web app, plus some significant new additions designed to improve your overall translation experience.
Google Translate works when you input text either through typing or by recording your speech (speech support only for 15 languages as opposed to 50). Once the text is input, Google Translate will look up the meaning of the words for you, translating them into the language of your choice.

You can download Google Translate now from the App Store. The app is available in all iOS supported languages, but you’ll need an iPhone or iPod touch iOS version 3 or later.
