Gaga drops eyelash in coffee

Pop superstar Lady Gaga has started her day badly after dropping her fake eyelash in her morning coffee. Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is paying the price of beauty. The 24-year-old tweeted: "It is a promising morning when your eyelash falls in your Folgers."

The Bad Romance singer wasn't present at last night's American Music Awards in Los Angeles but she did scoop the best pop female prize. 

Teen pop star Justin Bieber, 16, cleaned up at this year's AMAs, beating Gaga to the Artist of the Year award.
