Dell will begin selling unlocked Streaks in the US with preinstalled Android 2.2 (Froyo)

From the next few weeks, Dell will begin selling unlocked Streaks in the US with Android 2.2 (Froyo) preinstalled. The original Streak launched with Android 1.6, which is considered dated by today's standards, and the new unlocked Streaks will come with Android 2.2 pre-installed, which will be nice as users will be able to get Adobe Flash 10.1 content on their Streak. 

The company has also announced that users who have purchased their Streaks through Best Buy will be receiving their upgrade to Android 2.2 from Dec 3.
