Google releases official Android 3.0 preview (video)

Google has just confirmed that Android 3.0 will be known as Honeycomb. Ending the rumors that Honeycomb was Android 2.4. In a little preview video they posted up on YouTube, they showed off the upcoming version of Android that is specifically designed for tablets and boy, does it look sexy.

It makes full use of the tablet’s screen estate to show you more at once, as well as the support for some tablet optimized apps. All in all, the preview of Honeycomb looks really great and we can’t wait to see it on Android tablets.
