Haleron H97: The Windows 7 tablet look likes an iPad

We’ve seen a lot of iPad clones on the market. Now if Android or iOS isn't what you're looking for, the Haleron H97 might do the trick as it's powered by Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, despite looking very much like the iPad.

The H97 has VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs, 4 USB 2.0 ports, mic and headphone jacks, and an optional Ethernet adapter. No way is all that going to fit in an iPad-like design.

The tablet will also be able to run Linux, Google Android, and Chromium OS. No price yet, but shipping is set for December. So wait for Christmas and let’s see if it looks as advertised.

The Haleron H97 specifications:
  • 9.7 inch 1024 x 768 pixel capacitive multitouch display
  • 2GHz Intel Atom Z550 CPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • Intel graphics
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • optional 3G
  • VGA webcam
  • 4500mAh battery
