Microsoft Window 8 - wait till 2012 according to Microsoft Netherland

Don't you think that it is a little bit early for Microsoft to introduce the Windows 8 operating system by the time 2012 rolls around since Windows 7 hasn't been hanging around as long as Windows XP? Perhaps it will be an interim update and won't be a totally different experience, but time will tell. 

A rather awkward translation from Google Translate points out in a statement fro Microsoft Netherlands, "But it will take about two years before Windows 8 will be for sale." 

What are some of the features that you think Windows 8 will bring to the table when it arrives? Hopefully, it won't require a hardware upgrade for the majority.
