HP has launched its 3 new HP Mini 1000 series netbooks:-

1. HP Mini 1000
2. HP Mini 1000 MIE with MIE (Mobile Internet Experience) Linux OS 
3. HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition

The price range of the HP Mini 1000 netbook series will be around Rs.20,000-Rs.35,000.

• Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
• 8.9-inch or 10.2-inch BrightView display
• RJ-45 Ethernet port, 2 USB ports
• Bluetooth 
• Wi-Fi LAN support
• The HP Mini 1000 and the HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition will have windows XP HOme pre-installed
• The HP Mini 1000 MIE will come with MIE (Mobile Internet Experience) Linux OS.

MIE linux is a proprietary OS built by customizing Ubuntu Linux.
