Samsung Nexus One First To Receive Android 2.3 Gingerbread?

It seems that Android 2.3 Gingerbread, will be making its way to the Nexus One first before other handsets. the Samsung Nexus S’s delay may mean that the Google Nexus One becomes the first handset to run the 2.3 Gingerbread version of the Android OS.

If Android 2.3 Gingerbread itself is at fault, the Samsung Nexus S is likely to remain the handset to show off its crumbly biscuity goodness, but if it’s a hardware issue, the Google Nexus One could be the perfect phone to step in.

If Google unveils the all-new pretty Android 2.3 before Christmas, it could deter many from buying iPhone and Windows Phone 7 handsets.
