Nokia announced Eco-friendly editions of both the Nokia C7 and Nokia N8

Nokia announced today that they will releasing environmentally friendly editions of both the C7 and N8. Nokia is releasing a greener version of its N8and C7 smartphones through carriers O2 and Telefonica. The C7 and N8 were chosen as the two are already more eco-aware than in the past. They respectively use bio-paints and bio-plastics to reduce their impact, and
the use of regular AMOLEDs consumes less power than a typical LCD or Samsung's Super AMOLED.

Moreover, Nokia has also improved on the packaging design of both phones to make them greener, offering a smaller recyclable box, single page guide, and more energy efficient power charger.Nokia is shipping the editions through Telefonica and is offering them first in the carrier's home country of Spain.
