Lindsay Lohan dropped from film

Lindsay Lohan has been dropped from her latest film. Inferno director Matthew Wilder said he had been forced to drop the troubled actress from his movie because of "the impossibility of insuring her".

The decision comes just three months after Wilder promised to stand by Lohan and rubbished reports she was being replaced. "Even if Angelina Jolie wanted the role we would be sticking with Lindsay Lohan," he had said.

But now Wilder has confirmed he has withdrawn the movie offer after an LA judge ordered the actress to complete an extended stay in rehab. "We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan," the director said. "We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her — and some other issues — have made it impossible for us to go forward.".
