Android’s App Store For Pornography! is a new startup that has launched a third-party app store for the Android OS that works completely independently of the official Android Marketplace. The company says that it’s been rebuilt from the ground up, and it also includes one major new feature: support for paid applications. Previously MiKandi apps have been free; now developers will be able to generate revenue through a channel other than advertising.

While Apple has famously been keeping anything close to pornography off of the iPhone and iPod Touch via its app approval process, Android’s ability to download apps from anywhere has left this door wide open. While there’s no shortage of stories about Apple’s restrictions around porn applications, there’s still a market and audience for porn on the iPhone via mobile-friendly porn sites.

Jennifer McEwen, one of the company's founders, told Good Gear Guide that:
"Unfortunately, there will always be someone who doesn't believe the law applies to them. If illegal content is uploaded we will take it down immediately and if necessary take legal action against the developer in question."
